Hi,
I'm a 37 year old software engineer living with my wife and two kids in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. Since I wrote my first computer program in basic at the age of nine on an ZX spectrum home computer I dreamed about controlling my model railway using a computer. Over the years I started various software projects for controlling my model railway, I'd never finished them or decided that it should be implemented differently. In 2019 I started developing Traintastic as open source project. I develop Traintastic in my spare time as hobby project.
My goal is to develop software that can be used by both novice and experienced users to control small and large layouts.
